Do you need help setting up your e-mail client? 

Use the setup guides and video tutorials on our support page to help you configure your e-mail account with many of the most popular e-mail clients (i.e.: Outlook 2007).  We also have downloadable utilities to help you quickly configure your e-mail account if you are a new customer.  

How do I access webmail?

Each hosting plan comes with a set number of business class e-mail addresses.  You can access your e-mail account via webmail. To access webmail, please typehttp://webmail.<yourdomainhere>.xxx.  Then type in your full e-mail address for your username, and your assigned password to access your webmail.

How do I change my password?

Login into webmail, (see the instructions above if necessary).  To manage all webmail settings, click "Settings", located in the upper right corner of the web page.  A pop up menu should appear (if you do not see this menu, please temporarily shut off your pop-up blocker).  Click "Change Password" on the left-hand menu, enter your current and new password and confirm your new password.

How do I manage / control spam?

Spam filtering is preconfigured to filter and detect spam, however you have several additional tools to improve your ability to keep your inbox spam-free.

Login into webmail, (see the instructions above if necessary).  To manage all webmail settings, click "Settings", located in the upper right corner of the web page.  A pop up menu should appear (if you do not see this menu, please temporarily shut off your pop-up blocker).   Click "Spam Settings" on the left-hand menu.  From this menu, you have the ability to toggle on/off spam filtering, add safe e-mail address to your white list, and block spam e-mail with your black list. 

You also have the ability to write customized rules to filter mail based on set criteria.

 

Microsoft Exchange E-mail


How is Microsoft Exchange E-mail different than Business Class E-mail?

Our Business Class E-mail are designed to manage manage email message only.  Microsoft Exchange will handle not only e-mail, but your contacts, calendars, and tasks as well .  It will synchronize your information within Outlook 2007, and includes Outlook Web Access, the best web-based mail program available on the market.

What is Microsoft ActiveSync?

 ActiveSync is a software application that allows you to synchronize information between your local Outlook client and your mobile device.  There is no more wires or fiddling with USB cables. If you update your e-mail, contacts, calendar, and/or tasks Exchange and Active Sync will work together to synchronize the updated information to your mobile phone, desktop e-mail client (Outlook 2007 or Entourage 2008), and webmail applications.  If you are a business person who seeks connectivity all the time, this is a product for you.
